WEEKLY COMMUNICATION

All students have a STAR Binder that is sent home daily. The STAR Binder includes - weekly homework, sight word lists, Reading and Math tips, and the First Grade Discipline Plan.

The WEEKLY BEHAVIOR SHEET is sent home every Friday. I will only write comments when students receive a S, N, or U in conduct for the week. PLEASE INITIAL EACH WEEK. Students with 7 weeks of good behavior will have lunch with the me at the end of the nine weeks.

The RED Wednesday Folder is sent home once a week - on Wednesday. This folder will have important notes from the PTO, clubs, the office, and from me. All graded papers will be sent home on Wednesday. Please sign the Wednesday Folder Sheet and any papers with a grade below 70. ALL STUDENTS ARE GIVEN UNTIL FRIDAY TO CORRECT PAPERS WITH A GRADE BELOW 70.

IT IS THE STUDENTS' RESPONSIBILITY TO TURN IN ALL HOMEWORK AND RED FOLDER.

BACKGROUND CHECK

Richland Volunteers and Chaperones must contact the office to schedule a time to complete a background check. The background check expires at the end of each school year. Please contact the office 4-6 weeks prior to volunteering or attending a field trip as a chaperone.
